At 10:00am on May 26, 2009, Center for International Education (CIE) – VNUHCM formally celebrated the signing ceremony in training cooperation program with Auckland University of Technology (AUT) – 1 year in Vietnam + 2 years in New Zealand.

CIE honourly had the presence of Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia – Vice Director of VNU-HCM; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Giao – President of Union of Science and Technology Association in HCMC; Dr. Truong Quang Duoc – Vice Rector of International University, Acting Director of Center for International Education; Mr. Bruce Jones – Associate Dean of AUT Business School; Mr. Graham Sims – Consul General, Consulate General of New Zealand in HCMC, and representatives of media agencies.

The AUT 1+2 Program is a transfer program jointly conducted by VNU-HCM and the Auckland University of Technology - AUT ( Auckland, New Zealand). Enrolled in the AUT 1+2 Program, students will study the first year with 33 credits in Vietnam and complete their Bachelor's program for the last two years at the Auckland University of Technology - AUT ( Auckland, New Zealand).

The AUT 1+2 Program offers a Bachelor of Business degree with majors in Advertising, Marketing, Accounting, Business Economics, Commercial Law, eBusiness, Finance, Information Technology, International Business, Management, Human Resource Management and Employment Relations, Tourism, Design, Retailing and Sales.

Enrolled in AUT 1+2 Program, students can save 25% of tuition and expenses (USD 15,000) compared with studying 3 years in New Zealand.
