BACHELOR’S PROGRAM 2+2
Introduction
The American Undergraduate Cooperation Program is an agreement between Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City and US Universities. Students will complete the first two years at IEI and then transfer the second stage at partner universities in the US for bachelor’s degrees. Currently, there are three areas of study: Business/Management, Hospitality Management and Computer Science.
At CIE-VNU, curriculum, syllabi, textbooks, and teaching methods are academically designed and accredited according to American Standards. IEI possesses pool of faculty members who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to students. Also, English is the main channel of communication in all campuses.
Since its beginning in cooperation with the University of Houston Clear-Lake (UHCL), American Undergraduate Cooperation Program has been expanded to include 16 universities in US such as: University of Houston (Texas), Truman State University (Missouri), Missouri St. Louis (Missouri) and 12 public Oklahoma universities.
Our Partners
University of Houston Clear-Lake (UHCL, Texas) is recognized by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Both the Business Management and Accounting are accredited by Association to Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Besides, the Computer Science and Computer Information Systems programs are also admitted and certified by Accrediting Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)
University of Houston (Texas) is ranked in “The Best 376 Colleges” according to the Princeton Review and top three of Texas public universities evaluated as Tier One Research Universities by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
Truman State University (Missouri) is recognized by North Central Association of College and Schools. Truman is also one of institutions maintaining full accreditation by ACCSB International for its both Business and Accounting programs. Furthermore, Truman State University places in the list of 100 best values in public colleges that "deliver a stellar education at an affordable price" by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine.
The Missouri St. Louis (Missouri) is accredited by North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The International Business program was ranked 15th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in 2010.The College of Business Administration is listed in The Best 301 Business Schools by The Princeton Review.
Twelve public Oklahoma universities are high quality institutions under Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. Typically, Oklahoma State University earns accreditation by North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Additionally, its Spear School of Business is fully accredited by AACSB. The University of Central Oklahoma is accredited by the Higher Learning Commissions of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools as a bachelor’s and master’s degree granting institution.
