INFORMATION SESSION

GRADUATE COOPERATION PROGRAM 1+1

 

Graduate Cooperation Program (GCP) is a transfer program jointly conducted by VNUHCM and University of Houston-Clear Lake, Texas, US. The partnership than expended to include other U.S universities such as University of Houston (Texas), University of Missouri-St. Louis, Truman State University, Missouri, and 12 public universities in Oklahoma like University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University and University of Central Oklahoma, etc.

Official opening on July 14, 2000, GCP aims at providing opportunities for graduates to enter new and lucrative fields. Enrolled in the program, students will be exposed to a training program of U.S standards at a reasonable cost.

After 8 years of operation, CIE has been training more than 500 students. Among 350 students transferred to universities in US, Australia, 136 students were granted scholarships by Universities of Houston – Clear Lake, Texas and other universities with a total amount of USD 1,383,456. CIE has also granted 54 scholarships to outstanding graduate students with a total amount of USD 52,048.

It is proud that upon their graduation, a majority of CIE students have returned to Vietnam and hold high positions in many corporations such as Unilever, PepsiCo, HSBC Bank, Dong A Bank, and ACB Bank, etc.
